The Club has used plastic chess sets and vinyl boards available for sale for $10. We also sell new chess notation books for $5.
The Club does not sell chess clocks. Each player must bring their own chess clock for tournament games. The more popular models are the DGT 1500, DGT North American, DGT 3000, and ZMart Pro. (Find these models here). Please make sure you know how to operate your clock before your first tournament game.
Many of our members purchase chess equipment from the USCF's online store.
To join the US Chess Federation or renew your membership, email us. The Club can process your membership for you at the same rate listed on the US Chess membership page, so it costs you nothing extra and you wont have to deal with the paperwork. Joining through the Club also helps support us, as we receive a small portion of each membership and recognition from the Federation.
Westchester County is home to many high-quality chess instructors. If you’re looking for one, email us with the student’s age, experience level, location and preferred schedule, and whether you prefer in-person or online lessons. With your permission, we’ll share your request with our members so that available instructors can contact you directly.
The Club does not screen or endorse individual instructors.
